Dark Nights and Bright Lights

Strength and Weakness
When the night is darkest is when the lamp can shine its brightest. It is the dark times that help us to better appreciate the power of God in our lives. These processes are necessary so that we could understand that it’s not by our might but by God’s strength that we will obtain victory. There is no TESTimony without a test.

Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. (‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭9‬ NLT)

To the End

Finish the Race This trek, the “Straight and Narrow” as some refer to it, is not an easy walk. The enemy will often try to flood your path with obstacles in an effort to make you fail, fall or quit. Do not be discouraged and don’t quit regardless of the trips, falls, or failures, because the eternal prize at the end is worth it. This road may seem long….but eternity is longer.

But the one who endures to the end will be saved. (‭Matthew‬ ‭24‬:‭13‬ NLT)

Glass Half….(your answer here)

Lemons.JPG

In life, we will come across situations where the glass is halfway, but it depends on us whether it’s half full or half empty. Today, let’s make it a point to see the “half full” side, find the silver linings, and enjoy the rain when it pours.

So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. (‭1 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭6‬ NLT)

The Great Divide

Jesus bridge
Many years ago sin wedged a gap between us and God, but when Jesus died on the cross He bridged that gap allowing us access to God, the Father, through Him. Jesus is our direct line to God. Up on that cross, it was you and I He was thinking of.

For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. (‭1 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭5‬ NLT)
