Not Of This World

Going against the flow is LITERALLY very difficult to do. In fact, common beach goers know that the only way to get out of a rip current is to swim with the flow. Trying to do the opposite is physically exhausting, the same applies to us spiritually. It’s easier for us to go with the flow of this world, but when Jesus left this world He told us He was going to prepare a place for us. In order to get there we must live knowing that we are here but not from here.

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ NLT)
