Society Today

Society today is so complex.

People don’t read, they just want the specs.

Life is unrated, no taboo subjects.

Young men are treated like they’re suspects,

And women are treated like sexual objects

Pause…why do you look so perplexed?

Are you mad because I said sex?

Oh come on! Reality check!

Modesty is gone and these are the effects

Chivalry is dead. You didn’t pay your respects?

Like a foreign object, this generation rejects

Morality and spirituality, but what could we expect?

People run from The Word like it was their ex

And church is prehistoric, like a T-Rex.

Society today is so complex

I’m scared to see what’s gonna happen next.
