I remember a time when I was so frustrated, that I could only focus on the negative and I couldn’t enjoy life’s simple pleasures. It took some serious re-wiring and loads of prayer, but thankfully I was able to surpass this phase. I learned that my happiness doesn’t depend on materialistic things or other people. Happiness comes from within and through the joy of salvation. Although it still requires a conscious effort, I can say that I enjoy life A LOT more now.
So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can. (Ecclesiastes 3:12 NLT)
