Being mad at a person or hating them is such a draining task, it’s like carrying around dead weight. Imagine sleeping, eating, showering, and living with the added baggage, it’s too much work. Moreover, God is love and He has commanded us, His children, to love one another. This passage proposes an interesting question: If we love a God whom we don’t see, why can’t we love those that we do?
And he has given us this command: Those who love God must also love their fellow believers. (1 John 4:21 NLT)
