One day while watching tv, I heard a quote by journalist Barbara Grizzuti Harrison; “All acts performed in the world begin in the imagination.” Our minds produce the thought and our hearts add the feeling which is later translated by our bodies and made into an action. This is why it’s important to guard both our minds and hearts. The Psalmist was brave in asking God to test his heart and his motives. Ponder this; if God put our thoughts and our hearts on trail, would they pass the test?
Put me on trial, LORD, and cross-examine me. Test my motives and my heart. (Psalms 26:2 NLT)

Absolutely true! We need to ask the Lord to examine our hearts everyday and never forget He even knows our thoughts. Praise Him!
