When someone is in love, it’s usually obvious, because they start to act different, their “me” becomes a “we”, and even their appearance is no longer the same. That is exactly what happens when we experience true love through Jesus. There are no requirements for us to come to Him, but once He becomes part of our lives things begin to change…we begin to change. It’s impossible to continue being our old selves after having had a true encounter with Him.
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! (2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT)
