Greatness

Greatness

You were born for greatness

Don’t walk around like you’re nameless

Lift your head like you’re shameless

Leave behind all the lameness

Yes, it hurts, it’s not painless

Take some risks, loosen the safeness

Just believe, don’t be faithless

Let your life take form, it’s not shapeless

You were born for greatness

You are royalty, child of a king

Take flight, soar, spread your wings

Life’s a sweet melody, close your eyes and sing

Prove people wrong, who cares what they’re saying

Knock out the negatives, like in a boxing ring

Enjoy the ups and downs, like you would a swing

You have a lot to offer, so what are you gonna bring?

You’re not a chameleon don’t blend in with everything

You are royalty, child of a king

Forged from stone, a diamond in the rough

Face fears, don’t get going when the going gets tough

Speak out, say enough when it’s enough

Be comfortable in your skin, call yourself “hot stuff”

Imperfections make you beautiful, even in the buff

Cry when needed, be soft like marshmallow fluff

Processes are normal but they pass sure enough

Enjoy the bigger picture, don’t sweat the small stuff

Forged from stone, a diamond in the rough

When God made you, He broke the mold

Made out of love that He did not withhold

Processed through fire like purifying gold

You’re an ongoing story, there’s so much untold

I’m excited to see your greatness unfold

Be brave, kind, humble, adventurous and bold

Your morals and values please uphold

A unique being in His hands He holds

When God made you, He broke the mold

You were born for greatness.
