Have you ever had someone upset at you, but you didn’t know why? Then upon questioning the person (or perhaps other people) you realize it was something you’d done but didn’t know it was offensive to others because to you it was normal. Sometimes we become so comfortable with sin, we don’t realize that it offends God. To us these things are “normal”. Society doesn’t help either, seeing as how bad is now considered good and good is called bad. This can all be very confusing but the bright side is, we can ask God to point out those things we’ve become comfortable with which keep us from Him.
Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. (Psalms 139:24 NLT)
