I remember the first time I experienced a hurricane. When the eye of the storm passed we went outside to take a look around, never losing sight of the fact that the storm wasn’t over, yet feeling an overwhelming calmness. The same can be said for those who cling to God in the midst of their storm. He never promised rain-free days, only that He’d be by our side through it all.
