One day I found myself having a conversation with someone who told me life was too short, that they enjoyed all the pleasures offered to them, and that I should loosen up a little. Although we should enjoy life, this should be done prudently. We mustn’t lose focus as to why we are really here; to share the gospel. Bottom line, a few minutes or hours of any kind of pleasure are not worth an eternity of suffering.

The Lord offers us pleasures we might underestimate or not pay attention to if we only focus on the ¨fleshy¨ or ¨earthly¨ or ¨common or natural to all¨ pleasures… We need to pray and enjoy the pleasures He gives us, which are MANY, MANY, MANYYY.
