2 Lessons 1 Verse

In the 8th chapter of John, we find a woman who was going to be stoned for adultery and two very important life lessons. When questioned on the situation Jesus replied “…let he who is without sin, cast the first stone” (lesson #1). After a while all the accusers disappeared. Surely if He were to say the same thing today, we’d all have to walk away as well. Jesus was the only one who could’ve condemned her yet He chose to save her instead (lesson #2). His parting words should resound in our hearts and challenge us to make a daily effort to live in holiness.

“No, Lord,” she said. And Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.”  (‭John‬ ‭8‬:‭11‬ NLT)
