Often times I’ve been guilty of not forgiving myself. It seems we are much better in doing this for others, yet burden ourselves with a heavy load that we shouldn’t be carrying. The Bible is clear; the wage of sin is death, a price already paid by Jesus himself. All that is left to do is recognize that we’ve fallen and ask God for forgiveness, it’s as simple as that. His word says that HE forgives and forgets. So if He can do it for us, why can’t we do it for ourselves?

Amen. I guess it is common to many of us human beings to do better with others than with ourselves…thank you for letting us know we are not alone in this.
