Imagine the difference between seeing the Grand Canyon in a 4×6 picture and comparing that to a panoramic image; or even better, seeing it in person, there’s so much more to be appreciated. Our lives here are similar to that situation, just a mere snapshot of eternity. Bad days will come, we will face pain and grief, but it’s important to keep in mind the panoramic view. There’s so much more in store, present situations and troubles shall pass. There’s a greater purpose and a higher power at work and His will supersedes anything this world could ever offer…even when these things don’t make sense.
So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. (2 Corinthians 4:18 NLT)
