A Promise is a Promise

A promise is a promise

Ever since I was a child, I’ve been hearing about Christ’s return. To be honest, I’ve often wondered about this because it seems like a long time to be waiting. Yet, He promised to return in John 14:3.Today’s passage reminds us that God hasn’t forgotten about us, like many would think, but that He’s trying to save as many people as possible. All around us we see the signs of the times, and if these things are coming to pass, what’s to say that the return of Christ won’t?

The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. (2 Peter 3:9 NLT)
