“To err is human…” Alexander Pope understood that imperfection is part of our human nature. We are made up of strengths and weaknesses; bound to make mistakes as a result of the latter. In my weakness is when I’m at my most vulnerable, a feeling I detest, but God’s grace steps in and everything changes. Like Paul I say, yea I make mistakes and yes I have my weaknesses but it’s in those moments that God takes over and His power can truly be appreciated.
Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. (2 Corinthians 12:9 NLT)
