Too Deep To Walk

Too Deep To WalkMerriam-Webster defines faith as “a strong belief or trust”. Often times in life, our faith in God is tested and it is those moments that make or break us. Peter’s faith was tested, (Mathew 14) but he was more focused on the surrounding circumstances than on Jesus who, by the way, was literally in front of him. It’s easy to have faith when our situations are but a mere puddle, or up to our waist, but what about when they are drowning us? When it is too deep to walk, will our faith be strong enough to keep us afloat?

Then he measured another 1,750 feet, and the river was too deep to walk across. It was deep enough to swim in, but too deep to walk through. (Ezekiel 47:3-5 NLT)
