“I Am Here”

When I was a little girl, my mother gave me a poem which said God never promised us rainless days, only that He’d be with us through them. This walk is not an easy one the Bible itself calls it the narrow road. I once read something that said God’s protection doesn’t help us avoid difficult circumstances, but rather guides us through them. So for those of us who may be weathering a storm right now, know that although the sun is not out, The Son is and He’s by our side with an umbrella.

But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here!” (Matthew 14:27 NLT)
