Consider this: is it possible to a drive a car forward if we only look through the rear view mirror? Of course not, yet we often do that in life. I am guilty doing it. The enemy tries to use our past in order to keep us from moving forward to the things God has planned for us. There’s an old saying that goes “When the devil reminds you of your past, remind him of his future”. His fate is sealed, he has been defeated, he’s just trying to drag as many people as he can along for the ride. Perhaps it’s a good day to let go of the past and reach out for what’s to come.
